Dr. Fernando Flores, a pioneer in the field of trust and leadership, will lead this workshop. Fernando’s extensive experience, which includes founding several successful companies in California and serving as a high-ranking cabinet member in the Chilean government, uniquely equips him to tackle these issues. His journey also includes three years as a political prisoner, giving him a profound understanding of trust’s complexities.
Dr. Flores is the author of several influential books, including Understanding Computers and Cognition: A New Foundation for Design, Disclosing New Worlds: Entrepreneurship, Democratic Action, and the Cultivation of Solidarity, and Building Trust: In Business, Politics, Relationships, and Life. His collaborators have included esteemed figures like Terry Winograd (Stanford University, Computer Science), Hubert Dreyfus (UC Berkeley, Philosophy), and Robert Solomon (University of Texas, Philosophy).
