Paul, as Chief Operating Officer at VISION, is responsible for
the successful execution of the operations of the business,
including the portfolio of projects under the group.
Paul started his career with the Dundalk-based Software
Technology Research Centre, where he fine-tuned his interest in
distributed working and Agile Methodologies, facilitating two
innovative projects to the market; M.A.R.D.I and SPACE. He
subsequently joined Curam Software, developing a number of target
operating model and workflow components for social assurance
clients in the US, New Zealand and Canada. From Curam Software, he
joined the Professional Services arm of FINEOS Software as a Lead
Business Consultant growing the US market and advising Financial
Services firms in the US, South Africa, Canada and the UK. Through
the acquisition of Curach Consulting in early 2011, Paul joined the
leadership team at Deloitte Ireland, where in a period of
unprecedented growth for the company, he advised a portfolio of
clients in Innovation, Risk & Regulation, Organisational
Redesign, and Business Process Improvement. He subsequently joined
the leadership team of VISION in July 2015.
Paul has been featured in Enterprise Ireland's "Market
Magazine", delivered public presentations on the topics of Customer
Retention and Digital Transformation, and written a number of
articles on the topics of Trust in Digital Banking and
Organisational Inefficiency. For the past decade, he has also
worked passionately with the start-up communities in fintech,
transport networks, SaaS and FMGC.
Paul holds an M.B.A by distinction, a Masters by Research in
Distributed Agile, a B.Sc. in Commercial Computing and professional
qualifications in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, Design
Thinking and Innovation, and Financial Services.
