Adel L. Metry
Group President & Group Director
Adel Metry is President of VISION Global Operations, responsible particularly for growing VISION's business globally and for building VISION's brand awareness.
Adel has been in consulting for over twelve years. His experience encompasses management consulting in Fortune 100 companies in a variety of industries including automotive, financial, oil and gas and chemicals. Before becoming a consultant, and for the previous 10 years, Adel held senior positions as a computer services professional with extensive experience in planning, implementing and directing on-line systems in domestic and international financial services environments.
Before joining VISION, Adel was a managing director in the capital markets practice of BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting). Before his tenure with Bearing Point, Adel was a management consulting partner with Ernst & Young LLP and a vice president with CGEY after the merger. In addition, Adel was a vice president of the northeast market development unit for Cap Gemini, which he joined after working with Gemini Consulting in the US and Europe.
Before his consulting career, Adel spent 10 years in the banking industry with Alahli Bank of Kuwait, Bankers Trust Company, and Irving Trust Company focusing on the development and implementation of Information Technology Systems.
He holds an MBA in computer applications and information systems/accounting and MS in quantitative analysis/economics from the New York University Graduate School of Business Administration.
