Title: Sales MIS Project
The client's European Fixed Income business, headquartered in London and operating throughout Europe, required assistance to design and deliver new business processes and identify appropriate technology to support the re-orientation of its sales organisation from product focused to customer-centric. A variety of sales information was required to give management prompt, focused metrics on its actual and budgeted performance by industry and geographical sectors, by key customers, and by sales teams.
The VISION team worked closely with the business users to identify their business requirements, to prepare the business case, and to identify new business processes to ensure data integrity. In parallel, we worked closely with the IT division to understand the technology flow and agree our recommended technical architecture.
Within 4 months, the necessary processes were deployed to ensure future data integrity, historical data cleansed and a new MIS application available to produce timely metrics using the top 5 business measures. VISION were retained for a further 12 months to further develop the MIS application to provide additional functionality and more sophisticated metrics and to provide input into related sales focused initiatives (including the definition of a new sales desktop and the implementation of Siebel, a CRM application).
